SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Microsoft Corp walked away from its bid to buy Yahoo Inc on Saturday (May 3,2008), after the Internet company turned down its offer to raise the price by $5 billion to $47.5 billion.

Vista or XP?
With all the talk of the upcoming discontinuation of Windows XP coinciding with the release of Vista SP1. It seems to me that Microsoft is really pushing the Vista platform to all Windows users who haven't made the switch yet, I would have said upgrade but then with all the problems Vista users have been having, a lot of them wouldn't really call it that.

Apple Updates iMac Line
Apple announced an update to its iMac line last April 28th. The latest version of the popular all-in-one system includes new Intel Core 2 Duo processors with 6MB L2 cache and 1066 MHz front-side bus, a standard 2GB of memory on most models, and the most powerful graphics yet available on the system. The top of the line units feature a 3.06 GHz Intel processor and NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GS graphics.
